KOLLAM: PDP leader Abdul Nasir Maudany will appear before the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court at 11 a.m. on August 8, on the basis of a High Court directive. At a press meet here on Saturday, PDP working chairman Poonthura Siraj said that while Mr. Maudany was in prison, the Kerala High Court had given a directive that all the 20 cases pending against Mr. Maudany at courts in the State be tried at the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. The High Court also directed that in case Mr. Maudany is released from prison, he should present himself before the Ernakulam court within seven days of his release.
