THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Government and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) have decided to jointly establish a ‘Skills University’ to enhance the employability of youth in the State. Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) southern regional chairman Pradipta Mohapatra, who discussed the subject with Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan here on Saturday, said the university would chalk out a curriculum and conduct courses ranging from six months to two years to provide employable skills to the youth. The Chief Minister and senior Government officials evinced keen interest in the project. The university would have physical facilities in the State, possibly in Kochi.
