VIJAYAWADA: Trials to select the Krishna district athletics contingent (boys and girls) in under-14, 16, 18 and 20 age segments to take part in the forthcoming State junior championship at Prodhutur (Kadapa District) from August 10 to 12, will be held at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium, here on August 6 at 9 a.m. Interested athletes should report to SAAP coach, Vamsi, at the venue on Monday with their date of birth certificates. Athletes born on or after October 31, 1993, and October 31, 1991 are eligible to take part in the u-14 and 16 trials respectively, while those born on or after October 31, 1989 and October 31, 1987 are eligible in u-18 and u-20 age groups respectively. D. Prabhu Kiran will lead the Krishna district u-19 cricket team in the inter-district Central Zone (ACA) tournament for the S.V.H. Giridhar Trophy to be held in Vijayawada. The team: D.
