IRINJALAKUDA: Favourites, St. Joseph’s (Thiruvananthapuram) and Don Bosco ‘A’ (Irinjalakuda), marched into the boys’ quarterfinals of the 24th Don Bosco all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament at the Don Bosco Indoor Stadium here on Saturday. Also entering the boys’ last-eight stage were Sacred Heart (Thevara), St. Thomas (Pala), Girideepam (Kottayam) and Cherupushpam (Chandanakampara). The semifinalists were spotted in the girls’ section with Mount Carmel (Kottayam), Kristu Jyoti (Changanassery), Cherupushpam (Chandanakampara) and Little Flower (Koratty) making the grade.
