Property tax deadline extended

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has extended the date for payment of first half-year property tax for 2007-08 without penalty up to August 31. Tax payers requested the Corporation for extension of the date of payment as they failed to receive bills on time. The matter was informed to the GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer C. V. S. K. Sarma. Then he extended the date up to August 31 without fine.
