Foundation stone laid for new building of Iranian Consulate

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the new office and residential blocks in the Iranian Consulate at Banjara Hills here.
The Iranian Ambassador to India Sayed Mehdi Nabizadeh, Consul General of Iran here Hossein Ravesh, Cooperation Minister Mohammed Fareeduddin and president of Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi were among those present.
Mr. Ravesh told a meeting later that the existing structures in the consulate would be demolished to facilitate construction of new buildings within the premises.
