Dungarpur steps down

Mumbai: After a long innings at the Cricket Club of India (CCI), a founder-member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Raj Singh Dungarpur, has stepped down as President of the Club.

“It’s been a very long innings and happily I have decided to stay away from the next election,” he said.

Dungarpur was first elected to the Executive Committee of the CCI in 1981 and since 1995 he has been the president. — Special Correspondent
