Thumping win for Tiruvallur

Chennai: Medium pacer K. Vignesh claimed seven for 10 as Tiruvallur, on Saturday, defeated Vellore by nine wickets in the TNCA under-13 cricket tournament.

The scores: Vellore 43 in 27.4 overs (K. Vignesh seven for 10) lost to Tiruvallur 44 for one in 17.2 overs.

Thanjavur 39 in 32.4 overs (M.S. Karthik three for three, Jaiprakash four for 11) lost to Nilgiris 40 for three in 24.4 overs.
