New Delhi: A chorus of “wah-wahs” and “muqarrar irshads” greeted the finest Urdu poets from across the subcontinent who recited their works at an international mushaira here. Shahryar, the doyen of Urdu poetry, read “shairs” at the sixth edition of the Mushaira Jashn-e-Bahar - celebration of poetry, along with Pakistan’s Ahmed Faraz, last evening. The Jashn-e-Bahar Trust has Qurratul-ain- Haider, M F Hussain, Khushwant Singh and Kuldeep Nayar as its patrons.
