Two cops in CBI net

NEW DELHI: A sub-inspector and a constable posted with the Mayur Vihar police station here have been booked by the CBI on charges of demanding a bribe of Rs. 50,000 from a man to spare him from being framed in an attempt-to-robbery and murder case. The complainant alleged that S-I Anant Kumar Gunjan and Constable Neeraj were demanding Rs. 50,000 from him to “save” him from being booked in a case in which two of his brothers were arrested for allegedly killing a man in a bid to rob him of a bag containing Rs.8.65 lakh on July 4.
