BHUBANESWAR: Pen State University York of United States of America has evinced interest to provide opportunities to 15 tribal students from Orissa to pursue higher education at its campus. The tribal students were likely to also get their education free of cost with the university promising to arrange funds for them. This was announced by Joel M. Rodney, Chancellor of Pen State University York here at a press conference here on Sunday. Dr. Rodney said 15 tribal students after completion of Plus Two level course at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciencewould be chosen to pursue higher studies at Penn State University York."Funding for their study and stay at Penn State University York will be arranged from different sources in USA. Possibilities will be explored by roping in other universities in US to offer similar scheme for these tribal students," he said. "A group of students from different US universities will train the students in American English," he said.
