Prime accused in murder case held

BERHAMPUR: The police on Saturday night arrested Arun Bhuyan, the main accused in the murder of marketing executive Pankaj Dash last month, in Baulajholi village near Kukudakhandi on Saturday night. Arun, with the help of five others, allegedly murdered Pankaj at a house in Gandhinagar area of the city on July 26. On July 30, the police arrested his five accomplishes. Arun managed to escape with the bike of the victim on July 28. He went to Jeypore and stayed at the house of his brother-in-law for a few days. From there, he went to Rayagada where he sold the bike and returned to Ganjam district. He was planning to escape to Surat in Gujarat but the police managed to track him down.
