Conference of sanghatane

Bidar: The Akhila Bharata Janawadi Mahila Sanghatane will organise its sixth State-level conference in Bidar on August 20, 21 and 22. Advocates of women’s issues, representatives of non-governmental organisations, thinkers and writers will participate. Delegates will deliberate on issues such as women’s equality, domestic violence, female infanticide, and reservation for women in elected bodies. MP Branda Karat, freedom fighter Mallu Swarajyam, Sudha Sundaramraman, K.S. Vimala, and K. Neela will speak. – Staff Correspondent
