NEW DELHI: Riding on Naveen Sharma’s 75 (11x4, 1x6), Rajiv Sharma Academy defeated Modern Cricket Academy by 117 runs in a league match of the Shalimar Cup under-19 cricket tournament here.

The scores: Rajiv Sharma Academy 253 for seven in 30 overs (Naveen Sharma 75, Raman Sachdeva 36, Tanvir Mirza three for 35) bt Modern Cricket Academy 136 in 22 overs (Saurabh Sharma 35, Tanvir Mirza 34, Amit Yadav three for seven, Amit Yadav three for 18).
