‘No need to work for benefit of other parties’

HYDERABAD: The CPI(M) has said that there was no need for it to work for benefit of any other political party.

Taking serious exception to the Congress Legislature Party’s charge that the CPI (M) was pursuing hidden agenda and conspiring with the Telugu Desam Party to damage the Congress Government, the CPI (M) state committee in a press note on Sunday said the party would always fight for the cause of the people and not for any party.

The Congress party enjoyed the struggle the CPI (M) had waged against the then TDP Government but was not happy when similar struggles were launched against their Government.

He said it was unfortunate that the Congress party was blaming the Left party for the Mudigonda firing when the entire State was pointing an accusing finger at the Government and asking them to own moral responsibility for the incident.
