Chennai: Director K. Balachander and Kamal Hassan had a sneak preview of director Bharathiraaja’s bilingual ‘Bommalaatam’.

The film starring Nana Patekar and Arjun in lead roles has been touted to be Bharathiraaja’s comeback vehicle.

And if the industry buzz is to be believed, both Balachander and Kamal Hassan have shown their thumbs-up for the movie.

“After director Sridhar it was K. Balachander who influenced me a lot,” Bharathiraaja said.

“Kamal Haasan has become more than a brother to me. Both of them are great technicians. I showed my prints to them and they both appreciated my work.” In Hindi, the movie is titled ‘Cinema’. It is the story of a film director.

The cast also includes Manivannan and Kajal Agarval. Music is scored by Himesh Reshammiya and camera is handled by B. Kannan.

Bharathiraaja earlier told the story of a film director in ‘Kallukul Eeram’. He also played the lead role in the movie. This time around Nana Patekar plays the role of the director.
