Pudukottai: Tamarai Selvi of Santhaipettai Government Girls Higher Secondary School here, who secured the first rank in Tamil in Pudukottai district in the SSLC public examinations, and K. Bairavi of the same school, who secured the second rank in Tamil, were honoured at a function held recently.
M. Muthu Srinivasan, the president of the Parent-Teachers’ Association of the school, distributed cheques in memory of Valliyoor Gopalakrishnan-Kaaladi Saradambal to both of them.
The Headmistress of the Santhaipettai Government Girls HSS, K. Lalitha, presided. The teachers, S. T. Tamil Maran, and T. Krishnaveni, offered felicitations.
