Unorganised sector workers stage demo

Kakinada: Several workers belonging to unorganized sectors such as jattu coolies, construction workers, eedi workers, weavers, tappers, quarry, rice and tile mills workers, sanitary workers, agricultural labourers staged demonstration in front of the Collectorate here on Monday.

IFTU district unit general secretary J Venkateswerlu led the stir. They raised slogans demanding comprehensive legislation for protecting the rights of unorganised sector workers.
