‘Arogyasri’ will help corporates: Lok Satta

Doubts over faclities extended through select hospitals
VIZIANAGARAM: Lok Satta Party convenor Jayaprakash Narayan has stated that the grants sanctioned under Arogyasri health insurance scheme will only benefit corporate hospitals more than the poor.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Dr. Narayan, who was here to address party cadres, expressed doubts over facilities being extended to the poor through select hospitals.
On SEZs, he said that the Government must allot fully developed lands besides compensation to displaced farmers and added that it was not correct to acquire fertile lands for setting up industries. On agitation by Left parties, rasta rook and dharnas as part of struggle for land should not create inconvenience to general public, he added.
