CPI (M) cadres arrested

KARAIKAL: Nearly 200 cadres of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) were arrested in Karaikal in the Union Territory of Puducherry on Monday for taking out procession and staging demonstration in front of the Collectorate demanding the Puducherry Government to give free house site pattas to all the poor people.

All the arrested were released in the evening. — Special Correspondent
