CPI(M) submits petition to Collector

TIRUNELVELI: Functionaries of the Communist Party of India(Marxist) submitted a petition to Collector G. Prakash on Monday seeking free house site pattas.

The party had submitted hundreds of petitions to officials across the district some months ago.

While seeking information on the action taken on the petitions, the cadres also submitted fresh applications.

AICCTU plea

Separately, AICCTU functionaries, led by district secretary T. Rajamanickam, submitted a petition to the Collector, seeking action against a private metal company that was “violating labour laws.”
