CHENNAI: The United Writers’ Association is inviting nominations for its ‘UWA Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century Award’.
Journalists, academicians, authors, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, defence personnel and cultural ambassadors may apply for the award.
Religious and community leaders, institution builders, doctors and bankers may also apply.
The award will be presented to 150 outstanding individuals who will be given a silver plaque and certificateThe rules governing the award can be obtained from the United Writers’ Association located on 32, Parameswara Avenue, V.R.S Nagar, Maduravoyal. According to a press release, the last date for filing nominations is August 30.
