Rain likely in Kerala

CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over south interior Karnataka and active over Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and coastal Karnataka.

Forecast (Valid until Wednesday Morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, at many places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep and north interior Karnataka and at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Rayalaseema.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur over coastal and south interior Karnataka, north coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely to occur over Kerala and Tela ngana during the same period.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: No significant change.
