dated August 7, 1957: Atomic reactor for Madras

Mr. V.P. Appadurai, Chief Engineer for Electricity, Madras, said on August 5 that there was a possibility of an atomic reactor being erected in Madras State for supply of power by the year 1965. By that time, the State would have exhausted all other resources of producing electricity, he added.
