SBT’s Onam special concessional offer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has come out with an concession of 0.5 per cent on housing and car loan interests till August 31 in connection with the Onam festival.
In a press release here on Monday, the bank said the usual processing charges too would be waived during the period.
The new interest rates on housing loans having tenure of up to five years will be 10 per cent floating and 12 per cent fixed. For those above five years, the rates during the period will be 10.5 per cent floating and 12 per cent fixed.
Car loans having tenure up to three years will carry a 11.5 per cent interest and for those between three years and five years it will be 11.75 per cent during the period of the festival offer. Up to 90 per cent of cost of the car will be given as loan during the period instead of the usual 85 per cent.
