MANGALORE: Central Administrative Reforms Commission Chairman, M. Veerappa Moily has appreciated the choice of L.S. Sheshagiri Rao, as the president of the Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to be held in Udupi in December. A press release from Mr. Moily, said Prof. Rao had carried on the work of Kannada relentlessly for the last six decades. He had led the Kannada literature into the new age through research. Prof. Sheshagiri Rao had given the English-English-Kannada dictionary, history of English literature and a documentation work on Shakespeare and poets and writers of English in 20th century, in Kannada. Prof. Rao had become a bridge between Kannada and English writers.
