‘Initiate relief measures’

BANGALORE: S. Bangarappa, MP, has urged the Government to initiate relief measures in the districts affected by floods. In a press release here, said has said that heavy rain in several parts of the State, including Shimoga district, had caused lakes and canals to overflow. The floods had damaged houses and destroyed crops, causing heavy losses to farmers and others. — Staff Reporter
