‘Mahila Adalat’ today

NEW DELHI: The All-India Progressive Women’s Association is organising a “Mahila Adalat” at Jantar Mantar here on Wednesday.

Women from 15 States will participate in the public hearing to protest against lack of empowerment for women even so many years after independence. The jury will include eminent lawyers, journalists, academicians and women activists. The “adalat” will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
