MANGALORE: The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Prathishtana, Bangalore, has opposed a move to convert the historical Balbrooie guest house in Bangalore into a club for members of the legislature. Shivappa Renkeda Guttu, State president of the pratishtana, told presspersons here on Tuesday that the guest house had a history of its own. It had served as residences for former Chief Ministers Devaraj Urs and H.D. Deve Gowda.
