Corrections and clarifications

A sentence in a report “P&G forays into skin care” (“Business” page, August 5, 2007) was: “The U.S.-based FMCG firm Procter and Gamble (P&G) on Saturday announced its foray into the Rs. 2,100 -skincare market in India with the launch of a range of products, including an anti-ageing cream.” It should have been Rs. 2,100 crore skincare market.

A report “Gambhir helps Indians save face” (“Sport”, August 6, 2007) had a reference to Prasad in the Indians’ second innings score (“R. Dravid lbw b Prasad”). The reference is to Dammika Prasad who took two wickets in the innings. His name was inadvertently left out in the Sri Lanka “A” bowling figures, both in the print and internet editions. He returned figures of 12-0-34-2.
