Seven of a gang in police net

NEW DELHI: Seven members of an alleged inter-State gang have been arrested at Rajokri here for suspected involvement in several cases of dacoity, robbery and burglary.

Acting on a tip-off, the police laid a trap near a forest area and arrested the seven, later identified as Rafiqul, Nezaan, Jafar, Badal, Aakash, Dalim and a minor. They are all Bangladeshi nationals.

Three pistols, several live cartridges, four knives, iron rods and some screw drivers were allegedly seized from them. The police claim to have solved a case of dacoity at a farmhouse in Vasant Kunj here on July 6 with their arrest.
