VIP treatment: While the traffic policeman who adopts a tough stand against the common man in imposing penalties for any traffic rule violation, turns the other way in respect of VIPs. An MLA’s vehicle parked on the road obstructing traffic at Kamat Hotel near Ravindra Bharati and another VIP vehicle parked right on the narrow lane adjacent to the flyover being constructed in Begumpet on Tuesday did not appear to be violating rules. In both the places, the police officers ignored these vehicles, while they went on imposing fines on other lesser mortals. -
