HUDA staff call off strike

Hyderabad: The Staff and Employees Union of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) called off its strike as the Chief Minister agreed to allot Greenlands Guest House for relocation of HUDA. HUDA Vice-Chairman Jayesh Ranjan said that a Government Order would be issued to this effect.

US Consulate

Meanwhile, Hyderabad Urban Development Authority would be vacating its present premises, Paigah Palace, in about 15 days to facilitate setting up of US Consulate office there.

The Hyderabad Urban Development Authority would also be getting three floors of GHMC building at Maredpally as Green Lands alone would not be adequate for all the wings.
