Gold, silver offered at Guruvayur temple

Guruvayur: A devotee, Thankavel, on Thursday offered a 4.44 kg gold ‘Peetham’ to the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. Thankavel also offered 58 kg silver to the temple by offering ‘thulabharam’ for his grandchildren. Devaswom Administrator V. Ratheesan received the gold and silver. The Devaswom also received three high-mast lamps offered by Mani of Kumbakonam.
