Campaign against naxalism planned

KOLAR: The district unit of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha has planned a campaign against the “growing menace” of naxalism in the State.

It was necessary to create awareness against naxalism which was spreading to different regions, the Yuva Morcha district president C.V. Lokesh told presspersons here on Wednesday.

Programmes would be conducted from August 17 to 30 in various parts of the district as part of campaign, he said.

General secretary M. Krishnamoorthy and vice-president N. Venkate Gowda of the morcha were present. — Staff Correspondent
