Appointments made to KPCC wing

BANGALORE: U.K. Monu from Dakshina Kannada and D.H. Maldar from Belgaum have been appointed vice-presidents of the Minority Department of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).

Four and 12 persons have been respectively appointed as State conveners and members of the State Advisory Board of the Minority Department, KPCC, said a press note issued by C.R. Sageer Ahmed, chairman, Minority Department, KPCC.

The State convenors are Masood Foujadar, Binish Thomas (both from Bangalore city), Abdul Manan Sait (Bidar) and Hemraj Jain (KGF).

Members of the State Advisory Board are Sulaiman U. Talkhani of Uttara Kannada, S.S. Jagirdar of Bijapur, Atiq Kaiser of Chikmagalur, Syed Sulaiman, K.P. Patrick Lawrence, Naresh Jain, Syed Muzammi Ahmed (all from Bangalore), Usman Gani of Bagalkot, Abdul Khudus of Mysore, M.K. Tajpeer of Chitradurga, Abdul Rahman Alias Munna of Gulbarga and Razia Begum Nabiwale of Koppal. The Minority Department of the AICC has approved the appointments.
