Child workers rescued

Krishnagiri: District anti-child labour squads rescued 14 child labourers found working in match factories at Kaveripattinam near here on Thursday. Acting on instructions from Collector Santhosh Babu, a team conducted surprise raids on match factories and rescued the child workers. The children will be admitted to special schools. Action has been initiated against the owners under the Child Labour Prevention and Regulation Act 1986.
