RI for fraud

BHUBANESWAR: Special judge (Vigilance) Bolangir sentenced three government officials – Rabinarayan Dash, horticulturist, Padma Charan Patra, junior horticulturist, and Nrusingha Majhi, clerk, working at Patnagarh, to undergo RI for two years and pay fine of Rs. 5,000 for misappropriation of funds meant for disbursement of salary to a casual labourer. They embezzled Rs.19,435 by showing false disbursement of salary of the casual worker Nirmal Chandra Majhi, a press release said.
