MYSORE: A prisoner serving a life term in the Mysore Central Jail allegedly assaulted two of his cellmates on Wednesday. According to sources in the prison, Subhan, who has been convicted of murder, reportedly picked up a quarrel with Alwyn and Mahadeva and assaulted them, creating a tense situation in the jail. The jail staff rushed to the cell soon after they learnt about the brawl and took the injured prisoners to the hospital in the jail complex. Later, the jail authorities reportedly beat up Subhan for assaulting his cellmates. The incident came to light on Thursday.
