Collector urges tahsildars to complete houses

ADILABAD: Adilabad Collector Ahmad Nadeem asked Tahsildars and other officials concerned to complete grounding of houses under Indiramma programme by September end. He asked officials to speed up the process involved in the housing sector as he found the progress rather tardy.
Review progress
While reviewing the mandal wise progress of housing with the Tahsildars and housing department officials, the Collector was told that many beneficiaries were requesting for a roof of tiles. However, Mr. Nadeem asked the officials to motivate the beneficiaries so that they went in for the slab roofs.
He also asked Tahsildars to coordinate with bankers in respective areas and arrange bridge loans for the beneficiaries.
Bankers had agreed to clear all loan requests in the month of August, he added.
