Baharaich: A woman and her daughter were charred to death when a fire broke out in their thatched house at Behra village in the district, police said on Thursday. The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the woman was preparing food in her house. The victim’s husband Ambarish Kumar suffered serious burn injuries when he tried to save them. The fire also engulfed several nearby houses and was extinguished when fire tenders reached the spot, police added.
