Police foil TDP bid to occupy MLA’s lands

Kakinada: The police have foiled the TDP’s bid to occupy the assigned lands under the possession of Congress MLA Vatti Vasantha Kumar at Chollangi near here on Thursday by resorting to preventive arrests of TDP leaders at various places. The sub-divisional police officer S. Surya Rao said that over 130 people were arrested and later on released.—Correspondent
