Rain in many places in Kerala

CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has been vigorous over south interior Karnataka and active over Kerala.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala, coastal Karnataka at many places over Lakshadweep and south interior Karnataka and at a few places over north interior Karnataka.

Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

WEATHER FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala, Lakshadweep and north coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few places over nort h interior Karnataka.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change
