Bangalore: Bangaloreans will once again hear mellifluous notes with the Glorious Festival of Harmony — the 16th edition — being held at the Ambedkar Bhavan on August 18 and 19. The festival is back with outstation groups and schools and colleges from Bangalore, all participating in a unique event that will include over 1,000 participants and several genres of harmony music . Harmonics Complicated, a male quartet from Chennai and a group of acapella specialists from Christian Medical College, Vellore, will be the outstation groups participating in the festival. The festival will also comprise choirs from Bangalore schools, including Bishop Cotton Girls’ High School, Mallya Aditi International School and Vibgyor High School. The college entrees will include Jyoti Nivas, Mount Carmel, St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science, Christ College, NLSIU, UTC and SAIACS. Indiranagar Methodist Church, Bangalore Mar Thoma Chorale and East Parade Church will be part of the church representation from Bangalore. The show begins at 6 p.m. on August 18 and at 5.30 p.m. on August 19.
