Cultural programmes for Onam

Thiruvananthapuram: The Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan, in association with Kerala Tourism, will organise cultural programmes for residents’ associations, cultural organisations, students and housewives from August 25 to 28 in connection with Onam celebrations. Athapookkalam, Thiruvathira, Onapattu, quiz, tug of war and a variety of other events will be conducted at the centre, which comes under the Department of Culture. The winners will get cash awards. The completed applications should reach the Secretary, Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan, Nalanda on or before August 20. Details may be had on 2311 842.
