THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Terumo Penpol is organising essay, slogan, poster and banner designing contests on voluntary blood donation for college students as part its corporate social responsibility activities. The essay competition will focus on the theme “The Kerala paradox: Literacy champion; Blood donation failure”. The essay can be written in English or Malayalam and should be written in a maximum of 300 words. The slogan competition on voluntary blood donation can be in English or Malayalam. The posters submitted for the contest should be in newspaper size while the banners should be on flex or cloth of size 12 sq. ft. Attractive banners will be displayed in and around Thiruvananthapuram. There will be separate prizes for Malayalam and English competitions. Those who wish to participate should send entries along with an attestation letter from the head of the institution to the Public Relations Officer, Terumo Penpol Limited, Sasthamangalam, Thiruvananthapuram -10 on or before September 5.
