Availability of LPG to be ensured, says Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: The Government will ensure availability of cooking gas during the Onam season, Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran has said.

He was talking to media persons after a meeting with officials of oil companies in the Secretariat on Thursday. He said snags in the distribution of LPG due to road repair and strikes would be sorted out immediately.

The oil companies would make public the number of cylinders to be supplied to Kerala each month to make the distribution transparent. It would help remove the confusion among the agencies.
