Boy killed in road accident

NEW DELHI: A six-year-old boy was killed and two other persons were injured when the motorcycle they were riding hit an electric pole at Alipur here on Thursday.

According to the police, Tara, who had come to meet his relatives, took his cousins Chand (6) and Shahjad (4) for a ride in his motorcycle. While driving, he apparently lost control over the two-wheeler and rammed into an electric pole.

Chand’s head hit the pole and he died on the spot, while Tara and Shahjad fell into a ditch and sustained serious injuries.
