Mystery shrouds carpetner’s death

A carpenter died under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Vambay Colony. The Payakapuram police identify the victim as Puppala Durga Rao (35), a carpenter in Autonagar. Rao’s wife Kameswaramma left for her work. Rao complained of chest pain and asked his daughter Durga Bhavani to bring some tablets. Bhavani returned home and saw the body of Rao hanging from the ceiling of their house. The reasons for his extreme step were yet to be known. A case has been registered and the body was sent for a post-mortem.
