Martyrs’ Day

The Janata Dal (Secular) on Thursday observed the Martyrs’ Day. State president of the party, P. Mohamed Ismail, paid floral tributes to a martyr’s pillar.

State unit general secretary K. John Moses garlanded a statue of Mahatma Gandhi on Gandhi Memorial Museum premises.

Party cadres and freedom fighters took part in the function, according to a party press release.
